  • Exclusions – 5% or less, no spousal exclusions
  • Motorcycle – 50/100/25 minimum limits. Safeco’s hit ratio is 40% for Harley Davidson drivers with experience!

  • Mature Driver Auto Discount: 5% discount for drivers age 55+. Must have completed a CA state approved mature driver improvement course and accident free within past 3 years.
  • CA Good Driver Discount: 20% discount for drivers who has been continuously licensed for previous 36 months, the most recent 18 months in the US or Canada; has no more than 1 DMV point in the past 3 years; no DUI in past 10 years; no At-Fault accident with BI or death
  • CA Superior Driver Discount: 10% off for drivers who qualify for Good Driver Discount in addition to: having 5 years driving experience, no chargeable violations in past 3 years, no major violations in past 5 years, no more than 1 DMV point in past 5 years, no At Fault accidents with BI or death in past 5 years

  • Autos must be registered to household resident that is listed as a driver on policy including Named Insured, spouse, child of Named Insured less than 26 years old or parent of Named Insured
  • Accurate annual mileage – MUST USE Travelers’ Certified Annual Mileage reporting
  • Ineligible: more than 1 vehicle with original cost new over $125K per account, salvaged vehicles, commercial use (including ride share service), used in racing, ask UW for full list

Home & Dwelling Fire

  • No monoline property insurance including Homeowners, Renters, Condos, Dwelling Fires and DICs
  • No properties with a FireLine Scores of 3 or higher 
  • Secondary and seasonal homes are only eligible if Travelers writes primary home

  • Home – Must include Enhanced Home Package or equivalent on all Home quotes
  • Ineligible: vacant homes, mobile/manufactured homes, trampolines, skateboard ramps, bicycle jumps or unfenced swimming pools, dwellings over 25 years old without proper system renovations, non-weather related water losses in past 5 years, etc. 
  • Modernization requirements: Wood shake/wood shingle roofs must have been replaced within the past 15 years (for homeowners or 25 years for DP3); 25 years for any other roof material (except tile or other lifetime roofs). Oil furnace/burner cannot be older than 25 years; gas furnace/burner cannot be older than 35 years. Electrical must have circuit breakers in whole or in part. Heating must be central heat or thermostatically controlled electric heating system or thermostatically controlled radiant water heating system. Plumbing must be in good condition.

Umbrella

  • Up to 10 Million. Over $2M subject to UW approval. Must have auto with Travelers. Minimum underlying limit requirements: 250/500/100 auto, $300K Home/DP3. See UW guide for details

    Stillwater.
    - Minimal Underlying Limits for Homes, Watercrafts, RV is $300,000.
    - Risks with more than -9 rental-units, Jet Skis or more than 1 Motorhome are ineligible.
    - Risks with Liability Claims in the last 36-months or At-Fault for Auto losses are ineligible.
    - For mature drivers, 1 minor Auto violation in last 12-months or 2 minor Auto violations in last 34-months
    are acceptable. Drivers with no major Auto violations in last 5-years and youthful drivers without
    chargeable moving violations are accepted.

A statement will be issued to request return commissions due to cancelled policies, as indicated by the carrier.
